According to a report from the Over-the-Counter Electricity Transactions Management Office, since the launch of the Capacity Certificate Market in 1398 (2019) until the end of Mordad 1404, the total trading volume of capacity certificate contracts in the Iran Energy Exchange has reached 2,579 MW.
The Electricity Market Deputy reported that so far, 1,108 transactions of capacity certificates have been executed with a total value of 86,849 billion Rials, at a maximum price of about 106 million Rials per kilowatt.
It is also noteworthy that 411 consumers with demand above 5 MW (totaling 5,256 MW) have been introduced to the Energy Exchange to purchase capacity certificates. On the supply side, there are 1,729 MW of capacity certificates available for trading.
In Mordad 1404 alone, 21 capacity certificate contracts with a total volume of 9 MW and a value of 914 billion Rials were traded.
