According to the Electricity Market Deputy, quoting the Communications Management of the Iran Energy Exchange, the electricity market hosted trades of 2.352 billion kilowatt-hours across all boards during the third week of September, with a total value of 7,442 billion Rials.
The electricity derivatives board recorded the largest share of sales this week, with 2.171 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity generated by large-scale thermal power plants traded in forward contracts, valued at 3,485 billion Rials.
Additionally, 122 million kilowatt-hours of electricity from large-scale thermal power plants were traded physically on the Physical Board.
The Green Electricity Physical Board hosted the trade of 7 million kilowatt-hours from renewable power plants, while 14 million kilowatt-hours of renewable electricity were traded in forward contracts on the Green Derivatives Board.
During this weekly period, the Free Physical Electricity Board recorded the sale of 37.6 million kilowatt-hours generated by small-scale and distributed power plants at competitive market prices, with a total transaction value of 2,435 billion Rials.
