In the 35th week of the year 1404, the volume of electricity traded on the Iran Energy Exchange reached 3,205,744,000 kilowatt-hours, with a total transaction value of 6,212 billion Rials.

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department, quoting the Communications Management of the Iran Energy Exchange, the Iran Energy Exchange recorded trades totaling 3,205,744,000 kWh across all boards during the week, resulting in a total value of 6,212 billion Rials.

On the physical electricity board during this week, 1,032,000,000 kWh of electricity generated by large-scale thermal power plants was sold in physical form, with a total transaction value of 1,665 billion Rials.

In the same weekly period, 2,143,327,000 kWh of electricity generated by large-scale thermal power plants were traded as forward contracts on the electricity derivatives board, with these transactions amounting to a total value of 3,009 billion Rials.

In the third week of Aban 1404 (mid November 2025), 23,581,000 kWh of electricity produced by renewable power plants were traded as forward contracts on the green electricity derivatives board, totaling 1,196 billion Rials in value.

Also during this time, 6,264,384 kWh of electricity generated by renewable power plants were traded physically on the green physical electricity board, with a total transaction value of 330.786 billion Rials.
