Electricity Trading Up in Week 33 of Persian Year 1404: 3.3 Billion kWh Traded, Valued at 4.9 Trillion Rials

According to the Electricity Market Deputy, citing the Communications Department of the Iran Energy Exchange, the electricity market recorded 3,324,719,000 kWh traded across all boards during week 33 of 1404, with a total value of 4,905 billion Rials.


The Physical Power Board recorded sales of 1.5 million kWh produced by large-scale thermal power plants through physical contracts, amounting to 11.3 billion Rials.


During the same weekly period, 3,319,000,000 kWh generated by large-scale thermal plants were traded as forward contracts on the Derivatives Power Board, with a total value of 4,667 billion Rials.


In the first week of Aban, 4.5 million kWh of electricity from renewable power plants were traded as forward contracts on the Green Power Derivatives Board, with a reported transaction value of 228 billion Rials.
